Minnesota High School Basketball - Duluth East nips Bemidji
January 26, 2023: Bemidji, MN 56601 Duluth East Greyhounds (Duluth, MN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN), 58-55 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Duluth East upgrades its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Superior (Superior, WI) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 18-1. Superior won 61-48 in their recent non-league bout against Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI)
Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Hibbing/Victory Christian Academy (Hibbing, MN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Bemidji will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record. The come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 65-34 league loss to Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN).
