Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Greeley Central Wildcats (Greeley, CO) and the visiting Mead Mavericks (Longmont, CO), saw Greeley Central's basketball squad hold off Mead by a tally of 61-60.

With the victory, Greeley Central improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Windsor (Windsor, CO) to confront the Wizards in a 6A/5A/4A Northern challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Wizards come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Windsor won 37-29 in their recent league challenge against Holy Family (Broomfield, CO)

Next up, the Mavericks confront the Longmont Trojans (Longmont, CO) in a 6A/5A/4A Northern challenge, on Saturday, January 28. Mead will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 33-30 league loss to Centaurus (Lafayette, CO).
