The Hoover Huskies (Clendenin, WV) basketball knocked off the visiting Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV), 53-36 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Huskies (4-13) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV). The Irish go into the non-league test with a 4-10 record. In their last test, St. Joseph Central went down by Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 71-57, in a non-league test.

The Patriots now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cross Lanes Christian for a West Virginia Christian - AA test on Thursday, February 2.
