Laconia Spartans (Rosendale, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Omro Foxes (Omro, WI), 51-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Laconia upgrades its record to 18-2 on the season. The Spartans travel to Winnebago Lutheran Academy (Fond du Lac, WI) to clash with the Vikings in a Flyway bout on Friday, February 3. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 14-3.

Next up, the Foxes clash with the Campbellsport Cougars (Campbellsport, WI) in a Flyway bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Omro will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.
