Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting North Canyon Rattlers (Phoenix, AZ), saw Metro Tech's basketball squad hold off North Canyon by a count of 64-57.

With the victory, Metro Tech upgrades its record to 8-14 on the campaign. The Knights travel to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Jaguars in a 5A Metro challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 10-8.

Next up, the Rattlers play the McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ) in a 5A Metro challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. North Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-16 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 21-1 record after their 75-5 league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ).
