South Carolina High School Basketball - Calhoun Academy holds off Cathedral Academy
January 26, 2023: North Charleston, SC 29418 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) and the host Cathedral Academy Generals (North Charleston, SC), saw Calhoun Academy's basketball squad hold off Cathedral Academy by a tally of 41-34.
With the victory, Calhoun Academy improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Jefferson Davis Academy (Blackville, SC) to confront the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 30. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 0-3.
Next up, the Generals confront the Calhoun Academy Cavaliers (St. Matthews, SC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Cathedral Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record.
