New Mexico High School Basketball - Mora nips McCurdy
January 26, 2023: Mora, NM 87732 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes (Mora, NM) and the visiting McCurdy Bobcats (Espanola, NM), saw Mora's basketball squad hold off McCurdy by a count of 40-36.
With the victory, Mora upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Rangers/Rangerettes travel to Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM) to play the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 28. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 4-4.
Next up, the Bobcats play the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 2. McCurdy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Lobos come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 33-30 non-league win over Mora (Mora, NM).
