Michigan High School Basketball - Akron-Fairgrove knocked off by Deckerville
January 26, 2024: Deckerville, MI 48427 The Deckerville Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Akron-Fairgrove Vikings to 38 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mayville for a North Central Thumb contest on Monday, January 29. Deckerville will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 68-18 non-league win over Owendale-Gagetown (Owendale, MI). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.
The Vikings (5-10) will now prepare for their contest against Dryden (Dryden, MI). The Cardinals enter the North Central Thumb contest with a 11-3 record.
