The Ascension Academy Cardinals basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Kingdom Prep Academy Warriors to 36 in the Cardinals league triumph on Friday.

Ascension Academy will meet a Patriots team coming off a 70-54 league loss to Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 23-3.
The Warriors (6-18) will now prepare for their contest against Christ the King Cathedral (Lubbock, TX). The Golden Lions enter the TAPPS 2A District 1 contest with a 18-11 record.
