The Ascension Catholic Bulldogs basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Collegiate to 52 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Iberville for a 1A District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 30. Ascension Catholic will battle a Tigers team coming off a 81-34 league win over St. John (Plaquemine, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 13-11.

The (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Eagles enter the 3A District 6 contest with a 18-8 record.
