New York High School Basketball - Averill Park knocked off by Schenectady
January 26, 2024: Schenectady, NY 12308 The Schenectady Patriots basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Averill Park Warriors to 43 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saratoga Springs for a Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest on Tuesday, January 30.
The Warriors (6-10) will now prepare for their contest against Albany (Albany, NY). The Falcons enter the Section 2 Suburban - Gray contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Albany ran past Columbia (East Greenbush, NY), 75-60, in a league contest.
