Texas High School Basketball - Brookesmith tops Rochelle
January 26, 2024: Rochelle, TX 76872 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Brookesmith Mustangs (Brookesmith, TX) and the host Rochelle Hornets (Rochelle, TX), saw Brookesmith's basketball squad knock off Rochelle by a tally of 46-37.
With the victory, Brookesmith improves its record to 20-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Richland Springs (Richland Springs, TX) to play the Coyotes in a 1A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a record of 4-3.
Next up, the Hornets play the Lometa Hornets (Lometa, TX) in a 1A Region III District 17 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Rochelle will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record.
