January 26, 2024: Bunkie, LA 71322 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Bunkie Panthers (Bunkie, LA) and the visiting Jena Giants (Jena, LA), saw Bunkie's basketball squad wallop Jena by a tally of 62-15.
With the victory, Bunkie improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Buckeye (Buckeye, LA) to confront the Panthers in a 3A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 24-0. Buckeye won 40-31 in their recent league challenge against Bolton (Alexandria, LA)
Next up, the Giants confront the Caldwell Parish Spartans (Columbia, LA) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Jena will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 64-41 league loss to Marksville (Marksville, LA).
