South Carolina High School Basketball - North Central nips Cheraw

January 26, 2024: Kershaw, SC 29067

North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Cheraw Braves (Cheraw, SC), 73-68 in a league bout.

With the victory, North Central upgrades its record to 11-8 on the campaign. The Knights host Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC) to play the Volunteers in a AA Region 5 bout on Friday, February 2. The Volunteers come into the bout with a record of 18-3.

Next up, the Braves play the Central Eagles (Pageland, SC) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Cheraw will attempt to upgrade on its 8-15 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 7-12 record after their 60-46 league win over Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC).
