In Friday's league match, the host Scott's Branch Eagles basketball team scored a good 44-36 triumph over the East Clarendon Wolverines.

In their next game, the Eagles meet the Hemingway Tigers (Hemingway, SC) in a A Region 5 match, on Tuesday, January 30. Scott's Branch will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 2-18 record after their 49-46 non-league loss to Green Sea Floyds (Green Sea, SC).
