Minnesota High School Basketball - Esko tops Moose Lake/Willow River
January 26, 2024: Moose Lake, MN 55767 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Esko Eskomos (Esko, MN) and the host Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels (Moose Lake, MN), saw Esko's basketball squad knock off Moose Lake/Willow River by a count of 79-63.
With the victory, Esko upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Eskomos travel to Breck (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 19-0. Breck won 93-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, MN)
Next up, the Rebels play the South Ridge Panthers (Culver, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Moose Lake/Willow River will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 53-48 non-league loss to Proctor (Proctor, MN).
