The Point Pleasant Big Blacks basketball team (Point Pleasant, WV), was overwhelmed 66-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH)

The Cadets now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warren for a Twin State battle on Tuesday, January 30. Fort Frye will battle a Warriors team coming off a 57-53 league win over Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 13-3.

The Big Blacks (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Marietta (Marietta, OH). The Tigers come into the Twin State battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Marietta was overwhelmed by Warren (Vincent, OH), 57-53, in a league battle.
