Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH) and the host Ross Rams (Hamilton, OH), saw Franklin's basketball squad hold off Ross by a count of 49-48.

With the victory, Franklin upgrades its record to 12-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Brookville (Brookville, OH) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 12-6. Brookville won 66-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH)

Next up, the Rams play the East Central Trojans (St. Leon, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Ross will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 64-61 non-league loss to Aiken (Cincinnati, OH).
