Mississippi High School Basketball - Gentry overwhelmed by Yazoo City
January 26, 2024: Indianola, MS 38751 The Yazoo City Indians basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Gentry Rams to 32 in the Indians league victory on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memphis Home Education Association for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 27. Yazoo City will battle a team coming off a 50-47 non-league loss to Fayette Ware (Somerville, TN). The record now stands at 18-10.
The Rams (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Holmes County Central (Lexington, MS). The Jaguars come into the 5A Region 2 contest with a 4-17 record.
