Montana High School Basketball - Harlem tops Hays-Lodge Pole
January 26, 2024: Harlem, MT 59526 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Harlem Wildcats (Harlem, MT) and the visiting Hays-Lodge Pole Thunder Birds (Hays, MT), saw Harlem's basketball squad knock off Hays-Lodge Pole by a tally of 74-64.
With the victory, Harlem improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Poplar (Poplar, MT) to play the Indians in a B District 2 challenge on Saturday, January 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. Poplar won 67-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Froid/Medicine Lake (Medicine Lake, MT)
Next up, the Thunder Birds play the Box Elder Bears (Box Elder, MT) in a C District 9 challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Hays-Lodge Pole will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Bears come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 90-39 non-league win over Centerville (Sand Coulee, MT).
