Kaufer Seahawks (Riviera, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Premont Cowboys (Premont, TX), 72-27 in a league bout.

With the win, Kaufer upgrades its record to 10-16 on the season. The Seahawks host Freer (Freer, TX) to play the Buckaroos in a 2A Region IV District 32 bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Buckaroos go into the bout with a record of 9-17. Freer won 64-13 in their recent league bout against La Villa (La Villa, TX)

Next up, the Cowboys play the Santa Maria Cougars (Santa Maria, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 32 bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Premont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-21 season record.
