Sexton Big Reds (Lansing, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lansing Catholic Cougars (Lansing, MI), 70-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sexton upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Big Reds travel to Everett (Lansing, MI) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Everett lost 59-57 in their recent league bout against Grand Ledge (Grand Ledge, MI)
