Mountlake Terrace Hawks (Mountlake Terrace, WA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lynnwood Royals (Bothell, WA), 72-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountlake Terrace upgrades its record to 17-1 on the season. The Hawks host Shorecrest (Seattle, WA) to play the Scots in a 2A/3A Wesco bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Scots go into the bout with a record of 12-4. Shorecrest won 38-34 in their recent league bout against Shorewood (Shoreline, WA)

Next up, the Royals play the Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA) in a 2A/3A Wesco bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Lynnwood will attempt to upgrade on its 0-17 season record. The Red Wolves go into the bout with a 14-4 record after their 75-45 league win over Snohomish (Snohomish, WA).
