Massachusetts High School Basketball - Methuen nips North Andover
January 26, 2024: North Andover, MA 01845 Methuen Rangers (Methuen, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host North Andover Scarlet Knights (North Andover, MA), 58-56 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Methuen upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Rangers travel to Central Catholic (Lawrence, MA) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 8-5. Central Catholic won 63-48 in their recent non-league bout against Haverhill (Haverhill, MA)
Next up, the Scarlet Knights play the Tewksbury Memorial Redmen (Tewksbury, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. North Andover will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Redmen go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 57-51 non-league win over North Middlesex Regional (Townsend, MA).
