Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Valley Indians (Lucasville, OH), 71-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Minford upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Falcons host Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 13-4. Miami Trace won 54-43 in their recent non-league bout against Waverly (Waverly, OH)

Next up, the Indians play the Notre Dame Titans (Portsmouth, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 59-57 non-league win over New Hope Christian Academy (Circleville, OH).
