Virginia High School Basketball - Mountain Mission knocked off by Wesley Christian
January 26, 2024: Grundy, VA 24614 The Wesley Christian Circuit Riders basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Mountain Mission Challengers to 65 in the Circuit Riders non-league triumph on Friday.
The Circuit Riders now sport a 9-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Winston-Salem Christian National for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Wesley Christian will battle a Lions team coming off a 77-62 league win over Balboa School (Escondido, CA). The Lions record now stands at 20-6.
The Challengers (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY). The Cougars / Lady Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 15-8 record.
