Washington High School Basketball - Oakville overwhelms Wishkah Valley
January 26, 2024: Aberdeen, WA 98520 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Oakville Acorns (Oakville, WA) and the host Wishkah Valley Loggers (Aberdeen, WA), saw Oakville's basketball squad wallop Wishkah Valley by a tally of 72-20.
With the victory, Oakville improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Acorns host Taholah (Taholah, WA) to confront the Chitwhins in a 1B Coastal challenge on Friday, February 2. The Chitwhins come into the challenge with a record of 8-9.
Next up, the Loggers confront the Lake Quinault Elks (Amanda Park, WA) in a 1B Coastal challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Wishkah Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Elks come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 55-54 league loss to Mary M. Knight (Elma, WA).
