Arizona High School Basketball - Tonopah Valley nudges Odyssey Institute
January 26, 2024: Buckeye, AZ 85326 In Friday's league outing, the Tonopah Valley Phoenix (Tonopah, AZ) basketball squad edged the host Odyssey Institute Minotaur (Buckeye, AZ), by a margin of 73-67.
The Phoenix (4-13) will now prepare for their outing against Kingman (Kingman, AZ). The Bulldogs go into the 3A West outing with a 10-9 record. In their last outing, Kingman held off American Leadership Academy - West Foothills (Waddell, AZ), 60-54, in a league outing.
The Minotaur now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they host Yuma Catholic for a 3A West outing on Saturday, January 27. Odyssey Institute will clash with a Shamrocks squad coming off a 64-40 league win over Parker (Parker, AZ). The Shamrocks record now stands at 12-4.
