The Union Tigers basketball team (Mount Storm, WV), was nudged 49-43 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Salisbury Elk Lick Elks (Salisbury, PA)

The Elks now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blacklick Valley for a Western Pennsylvania battle on Tuesday, January 30. Salisbury Elk Lick will battle a Vikings team coming off a 73-42 non-league win over Belleville Mennonite (Belleville, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-7.
