The Union Tigers (Mount Storm, WV) basketball knocked off the host Hancock Panthers (Hancock, MD), 52-42 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

The Tigers now sport a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pocahontas County for a Potomac Valley A contest on Friday, February 23. Union will battle a Warriors team coming off a 80-53 league loss to Greenbrier West (Charmco, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 3-18.

The Panthers (5-16) will now prepare for their contest against Southern (Oakland, MD). The Rams enter the non-league contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Southern was defeated by Fort Hill (Cumberland, MD), 63-51, in a league contest.
