January 26, 2024: Warner, SD 57479 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD) and the host Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD), saw Waubay/Summit's basketball squad overcome Warner by a tally of 53-41.
With the victory, Waubay/Summit improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Florence/Henry (Florence, SD) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 1. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Florence/Henry lost 63-35 in their recent league challenge against Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD)
Next up, the Monarchs confront the Sully Buttes Chargers (Onida, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Warner will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 3-7 record after their 54-46 non-league loss to Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD).
