Ohio High School Basketball - St. Vincent-St. Mary can't hold off Archbishop Hoban
January 26, 2024: Akron, OH 44303 The Archbishop Hoban Knights basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host St. Vincent-St. Mary Fighting Irish to 47 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Knights now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Name for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Archbishop Hoban will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 40-37 non-league loss to Normandy (Parma, OH). The Green Wave record now stands at 1-3.
The Fighting Irish (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Stow-Munroe Falls (Stow, OH). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 5-8 record. In their last contest, Stow-Munroe Falls was nudged by Nordonia (Macedonia, OH), 58-56, in a non-league contest.
