The Saugus Centurions (Saugus, CA) basketball knocked off the host Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA), 48-37 in Friday's league test.

The Centurions (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Castaic (Castaic, CA). The Coyotes go into the test with a 6-4 record.

The Grizzlies now own a 3-12 record. They play next when they travel to Valencia for a test on Tuesday, January 30. Golden Valley will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 68-29 league win over Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 20-10.
