In Friday's league match, the visiting Cypress Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored a good 40-21 triumph over the Bridgeland Bears.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Cypress Lakes Spartans (Katy, TX) in a 6A Region II District 16 match, on Tuesday, January 30. Cypress Ranch will attempt to move on its 19-12 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 19-10 record after their 84-29 league win over Cypress Park (Cypress, TX).
