The Estherville Lincoln Central Midgets basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Cherokee Washington Braves to 37 in the Midgets league triumph on Friday.

The Midgets now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spirit Lake for a Lakes contest on Tuesday, January 30.

The Braves (9-7) will now prepare for their contest against MOC-Floyd Valley (Orange City, IA). The Dutchmen enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, MOC-Floyd Valley was routed by Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA), 63-56, in a league contest.
