The Lincoln County Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Columbia Central Lions to 40 in the Falcons league victory on Friday.

The Falcons now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shelbyville Central for a 4A District 9 contest on Saturday, January 27. Lincoln County will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 40-33 league loss to Coffee County Central (Manchester, TN). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 11-7.

The Lions (16-5) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Hill (Columbia, TN). The Raiders come into the 4A District 9 contest with a 10-10 record. In their last contest, Spring Hill prevailed over Warren County (McMinnville, TN), 53-44, in a league contest.
