January 26, 2024: Eastsound, WA 98245 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA) and the visiting Concrete Lions (Concrete, WA), saw Orcas Island's basketball squad overcome Concrete by a tally of 46-35.
With the victory, Orcas Island improves its record to 4-12 on the campaign. The Vikings host Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA) to confront the Wolverines in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Friday Harbor lost 48-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Lopez (Lopez, WA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Darrington Loggers (Darrington, WA) in a 1B/2B Northwest challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Concrete will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Loggers come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 78-12 league loss to Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA).
