Iowa High School Basketball - North Scott overwhelms Davenport Central
January 26, 2024: Davenport, IA 52803 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Scott Lancers (Eldridge, IA) and the host Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA), saw North Scott's basketball squad wallop Davenport Central by a tally of 56-24.
With the victory, North Scott improves its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The Lancers host Pleasant Valley (Pleasant Valley, IA) to confront the Spartans in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. Pleasant Valley won 77-13 in their recent league challenge against Davenport West (Davenport, IA)
Next up, the Blue Devils confront the Burlington Grayhounds (Burlington, IA) in a Southeast challenge, on Monday, January 29. Davenport Central will attempt to improve on its 2-15 season record. The Grayhounds come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 61-33 non-league loss to Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA).
