January 26, 2024: Holly Ridge, NC 28445 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the White Oak Vikings (Jacksonville, NC) and the host Dixon Bulldogs (Holly Ridge, NC), saw White Oak's basketball squad overcome Dixon by a tally of 52-44.
With the victory, White Oak improves its record to 4-9 on the campaign. The Vikings host Swansboro (Swansboro, NC) to confront the Pirates in a 3A Coastal challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Swansboro lost 40-26 in their recent league challenge against Croatan (Newport, NC)
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the West Carteret Patriots (Morehead City, NC) in a 3A Coastal challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Dixon will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 53-38 league win over Croatan (Newport, NC).
