The Hay Springs Hawks (Hay Springs, NE) basketball knocked off the visiting Edgemont Moguls (Edgemont, SD), 52-42 in Friday's non-league test.

The Hawks (13-4) will now prepare for their test against Hyannis (Hyannis, NE). The Longhorns go into the D2 District 12 test with a 3-12 record.

The Moguls now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Hemingford for a non-league test on Saturday, January 27. Edgemont will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 37-35 non-league loss to Crawford (Crawford, NE). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-13.
