Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Parker Thundering Herd (Birmingham, AL) and the visiting Homewood Patriots (Homewood, AL), saw Parker's basketball squad overcome Homewood by a tally of 48-32.

With the victory, Parker improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Thundering Herd host Minor (Adamsville, AL) to confront the Tigers in a 6A Area 9 challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 18-9. Minor won 63-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Cornerstone (Birmingham, AL)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Hoover Buccaneers (Hoover, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 29. Homewood will attempt to improve on its 21-5 season record.
