North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwood crushes Jordan-Matthews

January 26, 2024: Pittsboro, NC 27312

Northwood Chargers (Pittsboro, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC), 61-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Northwood upgrades its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC) to play the Buccaneers in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Bartlett Yancey lost 48-45 in their recent league bout against Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC)

Next up, the Jets play the North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) in a 1A/2A Mid-Carolina bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Jordan-Matthews will attempt to upgrade on its 7-10 season record.
