January 26, 2024: Goldsboro, NC 27530 In Friday's league match, the visiting North Duplin Rebels basketball team scored a decisive 37-8 triumph over the Rosewood Eagles.
In their next game, the Rebels meet the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) in a 1A Carolina match, on Tuesday, January 30. North Duplin will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 0-13 record after their 53-18 league loss to Union (Rose Hill, NC).
With the defeat, Rosewood moves to 5-13 on the year. The Eagles host Lakewood (Roseboro, NC) to confront the Leopards in a 1A Carolina battle on Tuesday, January 30. The Leopards come into the battle with a record of 6-7. Lakewood won 43-33 in their recent league battle against Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC)
