The North Valleys Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Sparks Railroaders to 8 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Tahoe for a 3A Northern - West contest on Wednesday, January 31. North Valleys will battle a Vikings team coming off a 54-13 league win over Hug (Reno, NV). The Vikings record now stands at 13-8.

The Railroaders (2-12) will now prepare for their contest against Truckee (Truckee, CA). The Wolverines come into the 3A Northern - West contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Truckee was routed by Wooster (Reno, NV), 53-20, in a league contest.
