In Friday's league outing, the Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Southwood Cowboys (Shreveport, LA), by a margin of 77-27.

The Panthers (21-6) will now prepare for their outing against Byrd (Shreveport, LA). The Yellow Jackets go into the 5A District 1 outing with a 2-24 record. In their last outing, Byrd was trounced by Benton (Benton, LA), 63-23, in a league outing.

The Cowboys now own a 18-8 record. They play next when they host Benton for a 5A District 1 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Southwood will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 63-23 league win over Byrd (Shreveport, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 15-11.
