Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA) and the visiting University City Centurions (San Diego, CA), saw Point Loma's basketball squad wallop University City by a tally of 50-26.

With the victory, Point Loma improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Pointers host Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA) to confront the Marauders in a Eastern challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Marauders come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Mira Mesa won 48-32 in their recent league challenge against San Diego (San Diego, CA)

Next up, the Centurions confront the Patrick Henry Patriots (San Diego, CA) in a Eastern challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. University City will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 8-16 record after their 57-36 league win over Lincoln (San Diego, CA).
