California High School Basketball - River City overwhelms Grant
January 26, 2024: West Sacramento, CA 95691 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the River City Raiders (West Sacramento, CA) and the visiting Grant Pacers (Sacramento, CA), saw River City's basketball squad wallop Grant by a tally of 53-14.
With the victory, River City improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA) to play the Cardinals in a challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Laguna Creek lost 48-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Davis Sr. (Davis, CA)
Next up, the Pacers play the McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Grant will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 37-27 league loss to Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA).
