Florida High School Basketball - Crystal River tops Hernando
January 26, 2024: Crystal River, FL 34428 Crystal River Pirates (Crystal River, FL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Hernando Leopards (Brooksville, FL), 55-45 in a league bout.
With the victory, Crystal River upgrades its record to 12-8 on the campaign. The Pirates host Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL) to play the Hornets in a bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 10-8.
Next up, the Leopards play the Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Hernando will attempt to upgrade on its 3-14 season record.
