Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) and the visiting Halifax Academy Vikings (Roanoke Rapids, NC), saw Lawrence Academy's basketball squad wallop Halifax Academy by a tally of 63-27.

With the victory, Lawrence Academy improves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Warriors host Christ Covenant (Winterville, NC) to confront the Spartan in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Spartan come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Christ Covenant lost 28-14 in their recent league challenge against Gramercy Christian (Newport, NC)

Next up, the Vikings confront the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. Halifax Academy will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record.
