Bark River-Harris Broncos (Harris, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI), 45-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bark River-Harris upgrades its record to 3-7 on the season. The Broncos travel to Munising (Munising, MI) to play the Mustangs in a Central Upper Peninsula bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Munising won 62-36 in their recent non-league bout against Newberry (Newberry, MI)

Next up, the Modeltowners play the Ishpeming Hematites (Ishpeming, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula bout, on Saturday, January 29. Gwinn will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record.
